Class Note 2026

Issue

September-October 2026

Class Note 2026. I can’t believe it’s been only three months since we were laughing with Rachel Dratch ’88 and saying “See you later” to our best friends of the past four years. Since Commencement, we have all scattered across the world, everywhere from Boston to Belgium. The ’26s have jumped right into postgrad jobs, graduate school, taking a pause to spend time with family, traveling the world, or anything in between.
Just this past week, I was catching up with classmates Jonathan Hayles, Esther Ojuolape, Khé-G Baron, and Travis Owusu about how quickly life has changed since we walked the stage at Commencement. As we reminisced about our nighttime strolls down to Dominos cashing in a free pie, cookouts on the weekend, and our last hurrah during senior week, our hearts were full as we remembered our time in Hanover. As we all turn the page to the next chapter of our lives, I’m excited to see the amazing things we will do and how we will stay connected to each other. If you run into any classmates, please send me a note. Keep an eye out in your email for announcements and updates from the class executive council. We will share information about mini-reunions, events, updates, and more. You don’t want to miss out! I wanted to use this first column to share what a few of our classmates are up to.
Olivia O’Connor will be pursuing her master’s in social work at the University of Chicago.
Nazarelie Rodriguez is working as a clinical research assistant at UMass Chan Medical School in the obstetrics-gynecology department.
Sachi Badola will be staying at Dartmouth to work as a teaching science fellow to support STEM education for Dartmouth students.
Lex Dallas will be pursuing a postbaccalaureate premedical program at University of California, Berkeley.
Our very own student body vice president, Favion Harvard, will be working as a financial analyst for the Town of Nantucket, Massachusetts.
Jamal Cooper will be pursuing his master’s in computer information systems while continuing his athletic career at Northwestern State University. In addition, he has cofounded VisionaryV LLC!
Here’s a special shoutout to all of the ’26s who were awarded Fulbright fellowships: Julia Abbott, Carter Anderson, Alison Blake, Daphna Cohen, Eric Deeken, Alyssa Gagen, Ryan Glenn, Thomas Hohmann, Yasmine Kanaan, Zander Kurita, Zoey Lin, Nandhini Parthasarathy, Evvy Rattray, Christopher Scanlon, Om Shah, Scott Sorensen, Vedant Tapiavala, Sarah Watson, and Tracy Weener. They’ll be teaching or doing research in countries across the world, such as Indonesia, Spain, Turkey, and so many more. We’ll be cheering you on!
As you all move to different cities and countries, make sure to update your address changes to alumni.records@dartmouth.edu so you can receive mail from the College. Also, don’t forget to update all of your contact information with the alumni office as well. Please feel free to send me life updates to be featured in the next edition’s Class Notes.
Finally, although there are so many things to be excited about in this next chapter of our lives, it’s also okay to feel anxious, worried, scared, and unsure about next steps. Give yourself grace and patience as you walk your path and don’t be afraid to lean on your fellow classmates and your support system as you embrace it all.
