Class Note 2023

Issue

September-October 2026

Class Note 2023. Hatley Post has been working in Washington, D.C., as an energy and climate policy analyst since graduation. She’s excited for upcoming trips back to New England with fellow ’23s to reconnect and escape the mosquitoes!
I (Chad Danger Klaas) completed my master’s in engineering management in June 2025 at Thayer School (in addition to a B.E. in 2024) and spent one last summer as a surf rescue guard at Popham Beach State Park in Maine before trading my surfboard for a laptop. I have since joined LifeSci Advisors in New York City, where I work with life sciences and healthcare companies on investor communications and capital markets strategy. My biomedical engineering and M.E.M. background come in handy daily, helping me dig into the science behind biotech and medical device companies and figure out how to tell that story to investors focused on milestones and market opportunity. I’ve also been integrating AI into my workflow—fitting, given that Dartmouth coined the term “artificial intelligence.”
This past April, I rejoined Dartmouth water polo alumni and the current men’s team at Yale for the Ivy Water Polo Championships for the second annual alumni game. The alumni team has grown to 12 players strong, spanning 15 years of College water polo. Any Dartmouth water polo alumni interested in joining the third annual alumni game in 2027 are welcome to reach out to me.
