Class Note 2010

Issue

September-October 2026

Class Note 2010. I am pleased to include an update from Bento Silva ’28, who is the recipient of the Dartmouth Class of 2010 Scholarship Fund. The scholarship grew out of the 2018 Call to Lead campaign, a historic $3-billion fundraising effort to ensure need-blind admissions for all students.
Bentogrew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and is a graduate of Greens Farms Academy. At Dartmouth he is double majoring in economics and history. Bento recently completed his sophomore year at Dartmouth, and it was a big one. He joined Chi Gamma Epsilon, served as a teaching assistant for the economics department, and secured an investment banking internship with Guggenheim Securities in New York City. When he wasn’t pursuing his academic, professional, or social opportunities, he also worked at Stinson’s, arguably one of the busiest jobs in Hanover.
Boyd Lever is building Pujo AI, a Silicon Valley-based company that enables a text message to instantly turn into a native mobile app. Pujo designs and delivers a product based on quick natural language conversion. Boyd spends his days writing code, talking to investors, and working to make mobile software creation radically simpler.
Boyd would like to connect with like-minded alumni, including builders, founders, investors, and technologists.
Steph (Gagnon) Sorenson and her husband, Jim, welcomed daughter Rose this spring. Her older brothers, Henry and Charlie, have happily accepted their new roles and adore their little sister.
Katie Taylor continues to serve as executive director of the American Billing Association (AMBA), where she has been since 2012. This year she focused on expanding education programs and professional development opportunities for medical builders and coders nationwide while preparing for AMBA’s annual conference in Las Vegas. Katie and her family live in rural Oklahoma, where life outside of work is happily filled with kids’ activities and ongoing projects on the family farm, which has been in her husband’s family for more than a century.
Cristina Brennan left New York City after 16 years, packing up with her husband, Vasco, and their children Isabella (3) and Javier (6 months) to move home to Miami. She would love to connect with anyone in the Miami area.
James Wang recently published What You Need to Know about AI, which won multiple awards at the 2026 International Book Awards.
