Class Note 1952. The month of September 1948 will always be fondly remembered as our official introduction to the Dartmouth experience and now, just one year away, it will be our official goodbye at our 75th reunion, starting in late September, probably in the 25-30 timeframe. Headquarters will most probably be the Hanover Inn. Of course, it will not be our goodbye to the College, but it will be our last reunion and the agenda will be respectful for nonagenarians. We sincerely hope your interest, your family, your health and energy, your pocketbook, and your calendar all line up to enable you to participate. Details will be coming soon and, as you will recall, it is a beautiful time to visit Hanover and the surrounding area. You will also be favorably impressed with the campus development and the energetic student activities, especially the pea-green class of 2031 (’31!), whose members will just be learning their way around. Think back to the fall of 1948. We were just finding our way from Baker to The Commons or from Wentworth to Gile and telling tall tales about the great people we met on the freshman trip! You can do it again. Speaking of 1948, if the 75-year class was having its reunion that September (it didn’t), members would be the class of 1873! Please give some favorable thought and companions will be welcome. Any thoughts you may have on this subject, as well as any other news, will be more than welcome. In the meantime, stay well, stay safe, and stay in touch. Fortunately, we have no closing announcements.
