Class Note 2019
Issue
July-August 2026
Class Note 2019. In the spirit of keeping things fun and flirty, this guest author has decided to present this edition of Class Notes in a two-truths-and-a-lie format (more accurately, five truths and four lies). The updates below include a mix of real news and a few creative liberties submitted by your classmates—your job is to guess which is which.
First up, some impressive academic and professional milestones: Claire Rafson recently graduated from Stanford as a Knight-Hennessy scholar, earning an M.B.A. and an M.A. in education. She will be joining this guest author in Chicago to start a new role at Rang as VP of strategy in April. Also on the West Coast, girlbosses Milla Anderson and Tara Burchmore crossed paths at a work conference in Palm Springs, California. Milla even extended her trip to attend Bieberchella—and was reportedly chosen to go on stage as Justin’s “One Less Lonely Girl.”
Katie Dishner is holding it down on the East Coast as she prepares to begin her emergency medicine residency at NYU this July. Gage Guerra wrote in to congratulate Zach Sammartino on his recent acceptance of a head coaching job for an intimate football team in Miami. Across the pond, Brandon Holmes will be starting a Ph.D. in economics at Cambridge University this fall. (Spoiler alert: It’s not a lie to say the class of 2019 is both intellectual and international.)
Celebrations are in order for the Lami Mansion extended family: Regina Yan and Celine Guan shared their excitement for Dorothy “Theia” Qu, their beloved matriarch, who recently got engaged. Speaking of family, in January Mark Dominguez and P.J. O’Sullivan reportedly squared off in an 18-hole, high-stakes golf match at Flushing Meadows Country Club. The alleged wager? Naming rights for their future firstborn sons. According to sources, P.J. lost and is now on the hook for “Claude O’Sullivan.” Had things gone the other way, the world might have been introduced someday to “Steve Jobs Dominguez.” On the topic of firstborn sons, Gage Guerraalso wrote in to report that Scott Lloyd had Drake’s son Adonis among his top five artists in last year’s Spotify Wrapped.
Think you figured out what was fact and what was fiction? For the answers, check out @2019.dartmouth. Hugs and kisses from your fav guest columnist, Anneliese “Gossip Girl” Thomas.
