Class Note 2018. Hi, ’18s!
Spring has brought plenty to celebrate across the class of 2018, and we have several exciting classmate updates to share! Starting this fall, Danica Rodriguez will be attending the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale as part of its theater management program, class of 2029. Congratulations, Danica. We can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you!
Freshman-year sweethearts Maddie Smith and Eric Fett tied the knot at a beautiful ceremony in Mexico City this spring. The wedding party and guest list were packed with Big Green alumni on both sides of the aisle. Maddie’s bridesmaids included Tiffany Dyson, Mikey Richards, Kendall Ernst, and Claire (Bird) Tinsman. We wish you all the best, Maddie and Eric!
Lindsay Salem-Bango recently returned from northeastern Nigeria, where she worked with Doctors Without Borders to manage epidemiological surveillance activities during an outbreak of Lassa fever, a viral hemorrhagic fever. Incredible work, Lindsay. We are so proud of the impact you’re making.
Jack Korzelius is currently in medical school to be an orthopedic surgeon. Wishing you all the best as you continue your training, Jack!
This spring Emily Choate (yours truly) felt so lucky to be surrounded by many Big Green friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. Thank you to Liam Fortin, Sophie d’Orchimont, Garrett Martin, Peter Blum, Devina Kumar, Carter Noordsij, Sam Colello, Danielle Kimball ’17, and all of our friends for making the day extra special!
