Class Note 2006. Hi, ’06s. For those of you who attended the “06/06 Class Day” celebrations in June, we look forward to hearing from you about your regional events and time together in our next Class Notes column!
Liz Allen shared some exciting personal and professional news: “After two children and a five-year engagement, I am finally getting married to Michael Schwalbe (Cornell ’03) with our families at the San Francisco courthouse in early July! In career-related news, I won the California Privacy Attorney of the Year award for my work with the California Privacy Protection Agency (CalPrivacy) building an updated do-not-call registry to allow Californians to request the deletion of their personal information from hundreds of data brokers with a single request. If you’re a Californian, check out the free government service, Delete Request and Opt-out Platform (DROP).” Congratulations, Liz!
It was also great to hear from Abigail Adams:“In January I started a new role leading operations at Wild Rye where we make beautiful and technical outdoor apparel designed by women for women. I’m loving the new job so far and enjoying continuing to live with my family (which includes a lot of dudes—husband Skander, our 3-year-old son Ansel, a springer spaniel named Jasper, and a horse named Axle) in Missoula, Montana.”
