Class Note 2004
Issue
July-August 2026
Class Note 2004. Hi, ’04s! I hope your summer is off to a strong start and happy Fourth of July! Here’s hoping you’re celebrating our country’s 250th birthday in style. I appreciate you may be traveling for the holiday or generally busy from summer camp drop-offs and pickups, family vacations, or moving from one place to another. So, when you get that rare minute to yourself, please take a moment to catch up with your classmates here.
Suhail Ahmed shared that he is currently living in Columbus, Ohio. During the last year he has been working out more and getting outside to go walking, running, or play different team sports in a nearby park. His niece and nephew recently visited him and they had several adventures together, including walking on the bike trail and playing dodgeball in his parents’ backyard. A fun time was had by all!
I am also pleased to report that we had our first ’04 mini-reunion of the year in Washington, D.C., in late April. It was a great way to connect with new and old friends alike! Attending the event were Jaclyn Harper, Laura Fraser, Danielle Polebaum, Jess Leinwand, Deirdre Parsons, Adrienne (Draper) Olson, Elizabeth Sislen, Susana Guajardo, and Johanna Thomas (me). If you missed the inaugural event in D.C., don’t worry! We’ll plan another one soon. And for those outside the D.C. area, the ’04 class officers would like to host these across the country in the coming months. So, if you want to organize one, please reach out. And if you simply want to attend, be on the lookout for a mini-reunion popping up in your neck of the woods soon!
With that, you may return to soaking up the sun! I hope the rest of your summer is relaxing and restful, and I look forward to catching up in the fall. Until then, be well, ’04s!
