Class Note 1956

Issue

July-August 2026

Class Note 1956. I have exchanged emails with Bruce Danziger ’83, a parent of a ’22 andson of classmate Bob Danziger.Bruce is finishing his term as Alumni Council president. Ideally, my next column will contain news of his dad.
Having received no copy from classmates, I have nothing to offer in this column. Please send a few words about the current state of your life. Certainly, at your attained age you know what I mean.
Word of the day: noctambulate, to sleepwalk—but to where is the question.
H.L. Mencken wrote: “A good politician is quite as unthinkable as an honest burglar.” In our beloved United States of America, the words “good” and “honest” have been deleted from all dictionaries in use in buildings under demolition to allow its occupants to dance away the night.
With sadness I report the passing of Paul S. Nelson Jr. and Frank H. Desmond.
This is an embarrassment: from no column at all to no column at all.
