Class Note 2010

Issue

May-June 2026

Class Note 2010. For those who have weathered back-to-back winter storms, I hope you’ve been safe and able to enjoy some of the wintry outdoor activities that the weather allowed. My wife, Abbe (Sokol) Cart, our son Edward, and I (along with Mel Pastuck ’11 and her family) recently returned from a trip to Milan, Italy, to see Olympic ice hockey. We were lucky to see a few Dartmouth alums play and see Team USA win gold!
Following 15 years in tech and finance with the past seven at Snapchat, Jean Luo has launched Tiger Sisters, a media startup and business podcast with her sister and cohost, Cherie Brooke Luo. You can find them @tigersisterspodcast on most podcasting platforms!
Boyd Lever recently left his job at PayPal to start his own AI company in the Bay Area.
I’ve also got a few pieces of class business!
Back in our undergraduate days, we started a partnership with the class of 1960 to purchase art created by graduating seniors to adorn dormitory halls. That class has stewarded this program for the last 15 years, but as class members’ age continues to tick up, they are looking to pass it to us. If you’re interested in art or supporting talented undergraduates, get in touch with me!
I’m thrilled to announce that my short tenure writing Class Notes has come to an end! John Murphy is excited to assume the role of 2010 class secretary. After spending a decade in Manhattan, John recently married Dr. Litton Whitaker, a vascular surgery resident. They now live in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Look out for future emails from him to share your news!
Finally, Jen Argote has been working to reboot a class Instagram account to share updates and other fun goings-on—give it a follow @dartmouth2010s.
Keep those updates coming!
