Class Note 2004

Issue

May-June 2026

Class Note 2004. Hi, ’04s! After a snowy and chilly winter for a lot of us, I hope spring is in full bloom in your part of the world and that you are outside enjoying the sun and (fingers crossed) low humidity. As we start to make the turn toward summer, I know many of us will be putting the finishing touches on work and wrapping up other commitments as our summer breaks inch closer and closer. While I am not one to get in the way of a good vacation, I do hope you are able to check in with your Dartmouth classmates before checking out for a little rest and relaxation.
First, let’s congratulate Lars Kenseth, who released his first children’s book, Call Me Moby, this past February. The story is a playful retelling of Moby-Dick from the whale’s perspective. In addition to being an author, Lars is a cartoonist for The New Yorker, among other things. And given his Dartmouth background, I guess it was only a matter of time before Lars followed in Theodor Geisel’s footsteps, so bravo!
We must also raise a glass to Greg McSweeney, who earlier this year was named a partner at Crestwood Advisors, an independent wealth management firm headquartered in Boston. Greg joined Crestwood in 2020 and has more than 15 years of investment experience across equities and fixed income. His promotion recognizes his leadership, analytical expertise, and impact on both clients and the firm’s long-term strategy. Cheers, Greg!
And with that, I wish everyone a fantastic start to summer and look forward to catching up again soon. Until then, have fun in the sun, ’04s, but don’t forget the sunblock!
