Class Note 1993. Roberta “Robbie” Di Giorgio emailed to share, “I’m living in Fairfield, Connecticut, and have been active in the Dartmouth Club of Eastern Fairfield County. I still have a footprint in my hometown N.Y.C. and had the absolute pleasure of seeing a number of ’93s in New York this past January for a yummy and cozy brunch on a frigid day: Selen Unsal Jacoby and Paul Jacoby ’92, Drew Patrick and his lovely wife and dear friend Maria Vrachnos, and Sharon Tomao. Separately, I’ve been active in a book club led by the legendary professor Edward Bradley, classics department at Dartmouth. I’m re-reading Homer’s Odyssey joined by a number of other classics aficionados from Dartmouth. We meet every week! It’s been an absolute joy!”
Trey Laird, Michael Rafferty ’91, and Cliff McDonald ’92 presented a fabulous panel during the latest tri-class “Re-University: Exploring Alcoholism and Addiction at Dartmouth and Personal Journeys of Recovery.” Each man was breathtakingly raw and honest about his struggles, path to recovery, and the Dartmouth connections that enhanced healing. Additionally, Trey detailed the amazing organization he began 10 years ago, Lighthouse Sober Living, which provides discrete concierge services for men and women in the Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey region. Dartmouth ’93 attendees included Jim Young, Jon Haas, Joe Tosone, Adriana Popescu, Jennifer (Dresser) Bank, Munir Haddad, Veree Hawkins Brown, Allison Carroll, Drew Patrick, and me (Natalie).
Munir Haddad’s company Kiosk was recently honored by Ad Age as one of “50 Best Places to Work” for agencies under 150 employees. Munir reflects, “Dartmouth showed me that culture is built through shared experiences, strong relationships, and a common purpose. Can’t thank my classmates enough for the lessons I’ve been able to bring to my colleagues.”
Kate Cudney is the owner of Katherine Cudney Art, where she creates beautiful pieces inspired by her mother and grandmother. Her website shares, “My artistic impulse is to express the human and nature environment I live in. I currently live in the American Southwest and my art reflects that.”
Sabrina Pagani recently brought her decades of experience as an interior designer to MillerKnoll, where she is part of a global team that “uniquely focuses on guiding our top Fortune 500 clients to create exceptional places and experiences leveraging the powerful resources that comprise the MillerKnoll collective of brands. Our Geiger factory in Atlanta is a case study in how to create quiet luxury steeped in craft, sophisticated materials, and reliability. I continue to be blown away by the thoughtful, future-forward approach to all things.”
Finally, we have sadly lost yet another classmate. Griffith Dudding III passed peacefully on January 8. Our hearts and thoughts are with his family and friends, and we are honored that his family included our Class of 1993 Scholarship Fund as a recipient for donations in Griffith’s memory.
