Class Note 1994

Issue

March - April 2026

Class Note 1994. Hello, fellow ’94s.
This article feels out of time sequence, published in February or March but the stories are from November and December. Sometimes the calendar works against us.
In early November Big Green alums from many different decades met up at Harvard Stadium for the Harvard-Dartmouth game. While Harvard won on the field, Dartmouth dominated the parking lots and tailgates. Obviously. Green was everywhere. Our class sponsored a pregame tailgate with the following ’94s, spouses, and friends joining the event: Michelle (Moore) and Jason Fortier, Beth (Donohoe) Cook, Neil Smith, John Fagan, Julie Lane, Jeremy Warhaftig, Ildi (Shinkle) and Kevin Nielsen, Sean Kinney, Bill Barton, Rob McCarthy, Juliana (Chittick) Tirayaki, and Andy Blackwell. Additional alumni included Todd Cook ’93, Mark Hirschey ’93, Elyse (Sheftel) Warhaftig ’93, John Schneider ’96, Mike Fahey ’97, Jeff Longnecker ’97, JoJo (Blaxall) Longnecker ’97, Kevin Mahoney ’96, Justin Moscadelli ’96, Inga Fisk ’96, and Woody Chittick ’62, plus a couple of children and nieces who are Dartmouth students. My apologies to anyone I missed. Greg Lewis was seen in the stands but missed the tailgate.
Several of us continued the party after the game until Harvard’s version of Safety and Security suggested we leave or we would be locked in the gates of Harvard overnight—lest the old traditions fail!
On to the Greg section of Class Notes. Speaking of Greg Lewis, he was recently named the director of heart failure and transplant program at Mass General Brigham.
Gregg Frame and his wife, Jill, attended a fall wedding in Sonoma County, California. He extended the trip a couple extra days with fellow Heorot Erik Howard ’95 and his wife. They have gotten together five times in the past few years. They stayed at the Lodge at Bodega Bay and were greeted unexpectedly with an array of gifts compliments of owner Greg Alden! Gregg (three G’s) had no idea. The Lodge was recently rated as a top hotel in the world by Conde Nast. Gregg confirms the experience matches the fame and accolades.
Nina McAdoo and husband Andy Savitt have been married for 26 years and live in Eastchester, New York. Nina is deputy counsel at KMPG, where she has worked for almost two decades—a lawyer for accountants! Oh the work stories she must have to tell. Their son is a senior at Union College and daughter is a high school junior. They also own a golden doodle named Leia, named after bad ass Star Wars legend Princess Leia of course. Nina, Lauren DeLong (southern Maine), Kelly (Just) Tanenholz (Baltimore), Michelle (Serlin) Hittleman (Connecticut), Christine Hieber (Virginia), and Marlyse Haward (Pittsburgh) joined up for a holiday dinner and evening in New York in early December. It’s so cool that they all make the effort to travel and continue to find time to meet up and stay connected.
Our WhatsApp group, “Dartmouth 1994,” now exceeds 150 classmates. Reach out to me or find past class newsletters with the link to be added.
