Class Note 1993
Issue
January-February 2026
Class Note 1993. Pam Adelstein emailed to share, “Michael Weissmann and I were at Bates College in May 2025 grabbing seats before the graduation ceremony as our daughter was graduating. I turned around and saw someone familiar who was on my freshman trip: John Goff! He was there with Jennifer (Ebright) Goff, his wife, for their son’s graduation. So, the four of us ’93s together watched our Bates ’24 kids graduate. It was a really fun coincidence. Our kids even know of each other!”
Miceal Chamberlain, president of Bank of America Massachusetts and Northeast regional executive for global commercial banking, will be serving on the honorary board of FIFA World Cup Boston 2026. He enthused that such service “builds on Bank of America’s broader commitment as the official bank of FIFA World Cup 2026 for Canada, Mexico, and the United States to deliver a world-class experience and create a positive impact for all. I’m looking forward to working with my fellow honorary board members to bring that vision to life.”
The University of Oregon Warsaw Sports Business Center director Lauren Anderson took advantage of a fabulous opportunity to expose students to the sports media industry when ESPN College GameDay visited campus on October 11. She shared via the school’s website, “Going behind the scenes at ESPN enabled students to see firsthand what they’re studying in the Lundquist College of Business: production, operations, VIP experience, sponsorships, contracts, branding, and more. Their opportunity to volunteer at something like this gives students a step up in [job] interviews.”
Give a rouse for Erik Ochsner: The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra named him its new music director as of January!
