Class Note 1954

Issue

November-December 2025

Class Note 1954. Our 47-percent participation in the 2024 Dartmouth College Fund drive was the fourth highest in the field of 73 classes and brought in more than 50 percent more in this 70th reunion year than was attained by the prior class. Job well done! Special thanks to so many widows who generously supported our efforts. And thanks to all who gave in honor of a ’54 friend or loved one. The families of those remembered were informed by the College of those so remembered.
Baker Library received books in memory of Bill Bryan, Harry Conarro, Cliff Evans, Alec Gray, “Beaver” Nash, Bob O’Neal, Lloyd Pepper, Bob Price, Clark Weymouth, and Dick Wright. Sadly, notice was received of the passing of Michael Moran Finigan and Lyon Miller Greenberg.
For family health reasons, Wayne Weil stepped down from his duties as class secretary and representative for Dartmouth Alumni Magazine. His technical skills and perseverance greatly fostered the class-administration relationship and classmate cohesiveness during his five-year commitment. (Interested in filling Wayne’s slot? Please contact me.)
Finally, I am happy to report that David Levine is not deceased, as I mistakenly reported in the last issue. My sincere apologies to him and his family for the error. May this also serve as a reminder to alert the College of a deceased classmate via obituary@dartmouth.edu.
Call a classmate.
