Class Note 2013

Issue

March-April 2022

Hello, ’13s.

As always, a few great updates to get to this edition!

Lexi Kellison wrote in with two great updates. The first: Kyle Lenz is moving to Seattle! He will start his fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology this summer at the University of Washington. The second: Janet Hong is in her final year of fellowship in rheumatology at Tufts. She and Bryan Song ’11 are expecting their first child at the end of April. Congrats!

We are also welcoming another addition to the Dartmouth family as Kyle Hunter and Shianne (Sebastian) Hunter welcomed son Kai Sebastian Hunter on October 1 in Durham, Connecticut—congratulations!

Finally, Emily Blackmer writes in that in September 2021, “I married my partner of seven years, Spencer Eusden, in Randolph, New Hampshire, with a spectacular view of the northern Presidentials. A host of Dartmouth friends and family were in attendance, including Paige Elliott, Hilary McNamee, and Steph (Crocker) Ross ’12 in the wedding party; parents Jill (Kschinka) Blackmer ’79 and Steve Blackmer ’79; and Spencer’s dad Dyk Eusden, an ’88 geology Ph.D.” Emily and Spencer live in the Tahoe area of California, where she recently began a new job working for a state conservation agency on forest and wildfire policy in the Sierra Nevada region. As Emily herself attests: “Yes, the wildfire smoke was really bad last summer. And, yes, there’s something we can do about it!”

That’s all for this edition, hope to hear from many of you next time!
