Class Note 2001
Issue
March-April 2023
It is almost spring, ’01 family!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season that was filled with family, friends, and, of course, some ’01 camaraderie.
Congratulations to Tara Dairman on the March publication of her latest novel, The Girl from Earth’s End (Candlewick Press). The middle grade book focuses on the journey of 12-year-old Henna as she searches for a legendary plant that might save the life of a beloved family member.
We also have one ’01 wedding to report. Gene Long married Vera Zaraket, a gastroenterologist from Lebanon, in Augusta, Georgia, this past October. Lots of ’01 Psi Us were in attendance, including Sujan Patel, Eben Hansel, Reid Smith, Lacary Sharpe, Chris Hummell, and Brad Stanley. Cheers to a wonderful 2023 filled with continuing ’01 adventures!
