Class Note 1992

Issue

January-February 2025

If you’re a member of our Facebook group, check out the holiday updates your classmates have posted there this December!

Thanks to Jeff Strabone for sending in his news of an exciting discovery: “I think this is my second update since we graduated. I live in Brooklyn. I’m department chair of English and director of the interdisciplinary minor in media, rhetoric, and communication at Connecticut College. I recently discovered some previously unknown manuscript lines of poetry by the English Romantic poet William Wordsworth. This is incredible because he’s one of the most-studied poets in English. The lines in question provide the only account he ever wrote of watching his father’s last dying breath, and I’m the lucky person who found them. My article appears in the spring 2024 issue of The Wordsworth Circle.” He added, “This summer I’ve been arrested a few times as part of the climate action campaign Summer of Heat. Check it out at summerofheat.org.”

We invite you to catch up on past ’92 communications at 1992.dartmouth.org/news. Also, did you know you can read every Class Notes column ever published on the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine website? Our very first one appeared in September 1992, written by none other than our original class secretary, the legendary Jessie Levine, and you can see it here: archive.dartmouthalumnimagazine.com/article/1992/9/1992.
