For those of us in the class of 1959, summer in Hanover was really not part of our experience. How different it is today, with classes and activities at almost every turn. But this summer, it is time to finalize those plans for attending the 65th reunion.

By now you should have received a paper form for signing up for our 65th reunion, which will be held in Hanover on September 22-25. You can register by either filling out the form or logging in to www.dartgo.org/59fallreunion. More than 80 classmates, spouses, and partners (and one daughter) have indicated that they plan to come. Hanover at that time of year will be full of students, sunny days (we hope) and cool evenings. There’s a non-conference football game with Fordham on the Saturday before our gathering starts on Sunday, so if you’re planning to come to the game, it would be a good idea to firm up your plans for a place to stay Saturday night. The bulk of the reunion activities will be held at the Hanover Inn or within easy walking distance. It is sure to be a great time…good program subjects and speakers focused on the theme “Dartmouth Today and Tomorrow,” and plenty of opportunities to renew old friendships. Make your plans now to be part of it.

Keep the cards and letters coming. Make 2024 a year of continuing accomplishments by the class of 1959 and the reunion a “must do.”
