Ardash Paul Epranian ’52

Ardash Paul Epranian ’52 passed away in Galway, New York, in 2020, the College has recently learned. “Ardie” was born in New York City on May 17, 1930, and lived most of his life in New York. After graduating from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, New York, Ardie graduated from Dartmouth in 1952 with a degree in psychology. He finished his formal education with an M.B.A. at New York University in 1962. His career was primarily in labor arbitration and he had more than 40 years of experience in labor and management relations, collective bargaining negotiations, and other forms of dispute resolution. He conducted numerous labor relations seminars and training courses as an outside consultant. Ardie also was an adjunct faculty professor for many years at NYU and the College of New Rochelle, conducting labor relations courses and related programs. In July 1960 Ardie and Sylvia Gray were married. They had children Bradley, James, and Kimber, who survive him.
