Alfred Laurie Hill ’47

Alfred Laurie Hill ’47 of Wellfleet, Massachusetts, died March 23, 2015. He was born in New York City on March 28, 1924, and grew up in Wellfleet, where he graduated from high school. He attended Boston University for a year, volunteered for the Navy and was assigned to Dartmouth in the V-12 program. He was discharged in 1945, graduated from the College in 1947 and from Tuck in 1948. He worked for the 3M Co. for 39 years in Needham Heights, Massachusetts, in sales and as a sales supervisor, living in nearby Wayland. On retirement in 1987 he moved back to Wellfleet. He is survived by his wife and two children.
