Timothy Bissell ’63


Timothy Bissell ’63 of Carson City, Nevada, died of cancer, March 26, 2012, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Tim was born in Anaconda, Montana, and moved with his parents to Carson City as a child. He joined the U.S. Army in 1962 and attended the foreign language school in Monterey, California, specializing in Arabic. He was stationed in Ethiopia as a communications specialist for four years. Tim left the Army in 1966 and went to work for Pacific Bell in San Francisco for 20 years before retiring. He returned to Carson City and continued to work for several companies. Tim is survived by his brother Peter.
