Walter Tumeniuk ’54 passed away on September 15, 2018, at the Ocean Medical Center in Lakewood, New Jersey. Walt was born in Kiev, Ukraine. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. At Dartmouth he was a brother of Sigma Nu and attended Tuck School. Walt worked at Ciba-Geigy Corp. in Toms River, New Jersey, as an accountant until retiring 35 years ago. His wife, Dina, and children Irene, Natalie, and Alexandra survive him.
