Paul Merriken ’55 passed away in Asheville, North Carolina, on August 1. He is survived by wife Shirley, daughters Alison and Lesley, and stepdaughters Susan, Martha, Barbara, and Carol. At Dartmouth Paul majored in history and was a member of Kappa Sigma, Casque & Gauntlet, DOC, and the cross-country team. In recognition of his contributions to Dartmouth and his community, Paul received the Class of 1955 Award on June 12, 2011.
