Jerry E. Reed ’47 of Denver died on June 8. He grew up in Denver, graduated from East High School and entered college. He graduated from the University of Denver. In Denver he served as a textbook author, Scholastic Books editor and educator. He created the Denver Public Schools Summer Theater program. He is survived by two daughters.
