Donald H. McGreevy ’60

Donald H. McGreevy ’60 died December 20, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on January 16, 1938, to Donald and Emmy Lou McGreevy. He grew up in Mission Hills, Kansas, and attended nearby Pembroke Country Day School. At Dartmouth he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon before leaving early to attend the University of Kansas. He graduated with a master’s in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. He lived in Mill Valley, California, and enjoyed painting in his country place in nearby Whitehorn. Donald was an avid fan of race cars, restoring and racing vintage race cars at the Monterey track with his son, grandson, and nephew. He is survived by longtime companion Ariel Gladden, son Evan, daughters Linden and Sarah, sisters Mary and Katie, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
