Creating Graphics for Campus Section
For creating images for the 4 Campus Articles
(Look Who’s Talking, Insta-Student, Ask The Expert, Campus Confidential)
You will need to create the image at 2 sizes, one that will appear within the body of the article, and a larger one that will pop up when the small one is clicked on.
First, find the page in the magazine you want pull the graphic from to use and open it in Photoshop.
Create a new file with the dimensions below and copy and paste the desired graphic into the new file.
Small Image Within Body
File should be no wider than 527 pixels.
Adjust/Crop height to accommodate full height of graphic. This will change from one to the next.
It is important to not exceed the width above for this image, otherwise it will not fit in the body section.
Large Image When Clicked
Start with a width of 785 pixels.
Adjust/Crop height to accommodate full height of graphic. This will change from one to the next.
Note: the width of this image can vary, but 785 is a good starting point.
