On April 11 members of the classes of 1957 and 1982 met virtually and in person in the Dickey Center for International Understanding Class of 1957 Library to hear a proposal on bridging divides.
With so many of us having difficulty traveling, it’s become more important to create events that are hybrid: both in person and available on the internet. We have two at the moment.
Douglas C. Brew died on August 19 in Hospice of Mercy, Durango, Colorado. Doug graduated from Ithaca (New York) High School. At Dartmouth he majored in geology and was in Kappa Sigma, Casque & Gauntlet and Green Key.
Michael L. Lasser passed away on July 22 in Rochester, New York. Michael grew up across the Hudson in New Jersey at a time when kids, parents, and grandparents could sing all the popular Broadway songs.
Jerome M. Weiss ’57 passed away in Napa, California, on April 4. Jerry graduated from Stamford (Connecticut) High School. He spent three years premed at Dartmouth, where he was in Germania (treasurer). He earned his M.D.
John J. Patrick ’57 of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away on April 3, 2024, at his home. John graduated from Roosevelt High School in East Chicago, Indiana.
