Bryant earned All-State, first-team honors at Pembroke County Day School. He followed his father and brother to Dartmouth, where he majored in history, joined his brother in Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and was a member of Casque & Gauntlet. He was captain of the freshman basketball team and competed on two Ivy League championship varsity teams, in 1958 and 1959. After graduation Bryant returned to Kansas City. In 1966 he was one of three founders of FCI Advisors, which became the first nationally recognized investment advisory owned by a N.Y. Stock Exchange brokerage. Bryant was a vice chairman and provided leadership, professionalism, and wisdom for 53 years. Bryant married Mary Jane on October 7, 1961, and they created a wonderful life together for more than 58 years in Kansas City. Bryant enjoyed playing golf, and he played at the 1978 U.S. Amateur Championship and the 1997 USGA Senior Amateur Championship. He served Dartmouth as an alumni fund volunteer for seven years and as an alumni councilor for a three-year term. He loved spending summers with the family in Bemidji, Minnesota. He is survived by Mary Jane, daughters Debbie and Holly, and five grandchildren.
