William Todd Stewart ’52

William Todd Stewart ’52 passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on April 14. Bill was born in Philadelphia on September 8, 1930, and grew up in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, graduating from Lansdowne High School in 1948. He graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in economics. He was a member of Chi Phi, Green Key, the Dartmouth Outing Club and the Interfraternity Council. Bill was employed by the Aluminum Co. of America for 18 years in various sales administration capacities, first in Chicago and then in several other locations before leaving to settle in Tulsa in 1970. He entered the real estate business in Tulsa as manager of an urban high-rise development, Center Plaza, and later he and a partner bought their own residential real estate firm, Crouch Davisson Mulhall. Bill remained there until retirement in 1995. He served a term as president of the Tulsa Metropolitan Board of Realtors and he also volunteered with several Tulsa social support services and his church. Bill and his wife, Sarah Ann “Sally,” were married for 60 years. She survives him, as do children Kathy, Sarah and Todd, their spouses, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and sister Shirley.
