William K. Woodard III ’66

William K. Woodard III ’66 passed away at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on February 7, 2003, after a long illness. Bill was born in Boston and graduated from Valley High School in Albuquerque. He transferred from Dartmouth to Colorado College, graduating in 1966, and served as an officer in the Navy in Vietnam. He taught in San Antonio, Texas, and at Sandia Prep in Albuquerque and served as a counselor for Presbyterian Hospice for 11 years. He was active in the equestrian community most of his life. He had a passion for country Western music and was a member of the Bunkhouse Band. Bill is survived by his wife, Cecilia, and sons Ben, Tim, Mark and Kurt.
