Walter Benedict Reilly Jr. ’47

Walter Benedict Reilly Jr. ’47 of Westford, Massachusetts, died on January 9. He completed his education with a B.S. in economics from Tufts University. His entire business career was with Courier Corp. of Lowell, Massachusetts, where he rose to become senior vice president and member of the board of directors. He was president of the Merrimack Valley United Fund in 1977-78 and a member of the Research Engineering Council of Graphic Arts of America. He served as a member of the board of overseers of Aquinas House at Dartmouth. His hobbies included playing golf and skiing. He came from a major Dartmouth family, his father, brother, two uncles and a cousin being graduates. He is survived by his wife of 58 years and seven children, including son Walter ’77.
