Timothy Sherwood Dunning ’94

Timothy Sherwood Dunning ’94 passed away on January 12, 2015. He lived in Omaha, Nebraska, where he worked as a senior counsel in the corporate division at Union Pacific. At Dartmouth Timothy majored in government and was a member of Alpha Delta. After graduating Timothy received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia before returning to his home state of Nebraska. He is remembered as a wonderful friend, tennis partner, life coach, ski buddy and welcome source of laughter. He enjoyed a wide range of activities, from golf and soccer to branding cattle, hunting pheasants and competing in triathlons. His friends describe him as having a passion for knowledge that was incredible. Memorials can be sent to Omaha Performing Arts, Nebraska Humane Society and Dartmouth.
