Samuel Trock ’54

Samuel Trock ’54, M.D., passed away on October 13, 2014, at the Medical Center of Princeton, New Jersey. Sam came to Dartmouth from Holliswood, Long Island, New York; he attended Cleveland High School. At Dartmouth he was a brother of Tau Epsilon Phi and majored in chemistry-zoology. After Dartmouth Sam attended and graduated from New York University Medical School. He did his residency while serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Okinawa. Upon his discharge he practiced medicine as an anesthesiologist at the University Medical Center of Princeton. He served with the New Jersey Impaired Physicians Program and was a friend of Bill W. for more than 30 years. Sam is survived by his wife, Denise, children Kenneth, Daniel and Stephanie and stepchildren Wally, Christopher and John.
