Robert Edward Mulligan ’47

Robert Edward Mulligan ’47 died June 9, 2011, in Norwalk, Connecticut. He grew up in New York City and attended Mount Saint Michael Academy. He served in the Marine Corps. In college he majored in history and ran cross country. He earned an M.B.A. in personnel management from New York University in 1952. He worked in labor relations in several states for U.S. Pipe and Foundry, Sperry Rand, United Technologies and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Later he taught management at Fordham University while running a consulting firm. In retirement he taught mature driving courses to seniors and was affiliated with Lifetime Learners Institute in Norwalk. He and his wife enjoyed theatrical productions. His is survived by his wife and two children.
