Robert Allen Goodman ’57

Robert Allen Goodman ’57 passed away in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 24, 2014. He was born and raised in the Cleveland area, graduating from Cleveland Heights High School in 1953. At Dartmouth Bob majored in history and belonged to Alpha Delta Phi. He went on to earn his law degree from Case Western Reserve University, where he served as editor of the law review in 1959 and 1960. Bob had a long and distinguished legal career, specializing in anti-trust and business law. He was a member of the Cleveland and American Bar associations. He left his practice in 2008 to establish Crisis Assessment, a private firm providing emergency social services. He was also a supporter of the Jewish Community Federation and served on the Hillel Foundation of Northeast Ohio board of trustees. In his leisure time Bob enjoyed planning exotic trips for his family to enjoy. He also enjoyed reading, exercising and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Florence, four children and eight grandchildren.
