Raymond Rundle Grinold ’49

Raymond Rundle Grinold ’49 died on September 27, 2014, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, not too far from his home in New London, New Hampshire. Ray came to Dartmouth from the Choate School in Wallingford, Connecticut, after Army Air Force service in Italy. He spent his career at the Wallingford Steel Co., retiring as plant manager at 58. He and his late wife, Jean, moved to New Hampshire and spent the next couple of decades breeding and racing horses in New England, New York and Pennsylvania. Ray is survived by daughter Lisa and son Cary.
