Edward Hamilton Truex IV ’67 died on November 12, 2025, in Windsor, Vermont. Ted came from Wethersfield, Connecticut, and at Dartmouth majored in engineering sciences, and was a brother of Kappa Kappa Kappa. After graduation he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara, and completed his engineering degree at the Thayer School. Ted and Barbara then moved to Maryland, where he worked at General Electric building its time-sharing computer system. In 1976 they returned to Connecticut, where Ted founded a software company that he operated until retirement in the early 2000s. They had purchased land in Brownsville, Vermont, in the early 1990s, which became their retirement home. Ted is survived by Barbara, sons Edward and Richard, grandchildren Teddy and Abigail, and siblings Richard and Betsy.
