Class Note 2002

Issue

September-October 2025

Hello, ’02s!

Jorge Montalvo shared, “Kevin Allen and I attended the 10th anniversary event of Niegel Smith’s appointment as the artistic director at the famed Flea Theater in New York City. The Flea Theater has been transformed under Niegel’s leadership to its current mission to support and invest in experimental art by Black, brown, and queer artists and he oversaw the construction of its gorgeous new building in Lower Manhattan. Give a Dartmouth cheer to Niegel!”

I also heard from Lynnie (Rudner) Corell, “My family and I are still living in Vancouver, British Columbia. I’m still working as a pediatric anesthesiologist at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital and directing the pediatric anesthesia research team here. We would love to see any ’02s who come up for a visit since summer is such a great time to be in the Pacific Northwest. Please feel free to reach out!”

Finally, mark your calendars for our 25th reunion on June 17-20, 2027. We hope to have a great turn out for our first reunion in 11 years!

I hope you all are having a nice summer. Keep sending your updates!
