Michael P. Turner Jr. ’04

Michael P. Turner Jr. ’04 of Melrose, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on April 20 surrounded by his family. Born in Melrose, he was the eldest child of Cheryl and Michael Sr. ’74. Mike graduated from Dartmouth in 2004 and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2012. He worked at Setra Systems as a product marketing manager. An avid hockey player, Mike was skating before he learned to walk. In college he played four years for the hockey team. Despite his professional and athletic accomplishments, Mike will be most remembered for his ability to touch the lives of others. He had a remarkable talent for bringing people together. A natural leader, Mike’s charisma and enthusiasm for life were contagious, creating close bonds among the many people with whom he formed lasting friendships. His kindness, joy and humor will live on in the hearts of his friends and family. Mike leaves behind his wife, Katherine; son Brennan; his parents; mother- and father-in law Pat and Jay; brother Casey; brother-in-law Cameron and his wife, Elisabeth; grandparents Leo and Margaret and Anthony and Nancy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
