Merritt West Cornwell ’47

Merritt West Cornwell ’47 of Jupiter, Florida, died on September 31, 2009. He grew up in East Hampton, Connecticut, and attended New Hampton School. He joined the class in the Marine V-12 unit, majored in sociology and lettered in track. After military service he qualified as chiropractic physician and practiced in Lake Worth, Florida. In Lake Worth he served as Lions International Club president from 1975 to 1976.
