John Fielding Wynne ’43

John Fielding Wynne ’43 died August 28, 2008. John graduated from the Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut, before coming to Dartmouth. In college he played freshman hockey and was a member of Zeta Psi. In 1951 he graduated from St. John’s University Law School in New York City. John lived in Woodbridge, Connecticut, and practiced law in New Haven. After semi-retirement he continued to be active in his son’s firm. He was on the Woodbridge school and fire boards and was a member of the town Democratic committee. From the 1940s through the 1960s he was active in the New Haven Dartmouth club. His wife, Geraldine, predeceased him. John is survived by children Mary, John, Geraldine and Katherine.
