John Ambrose Carey Jr. ’49
John Ambrose Carey Jr. ’49 died on October 24, 2015, in Canandaigua, New York, where he lived. Jack came to Dartmouth after graduating from Albany (New York) Academy, serving in the European theater and marrying his childhood sweetheart in 1943. He spent his career as an insurance salesman for New York Life in Rochester, New York. Jack is survived by four sons and four daughters.
