Jason Alexander Cillo ’92

Jason Alexander Cillo ’92 died on June 4, 2015. He came to Dartmouth from Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California. At the College he double-majored in philosophy and biochemistry. Jason worked at The Dartmouth all four years and served as the photography editor. He sang with the Chamber Singers all four years, as well as with the Handel Society, and was a member of Gamma Delta Chi. He was also on the staff of Aporia. Jason earned top honors from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2000 and had been preparing to begin a palliative care fellowship there. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. Jason was passionate about learning, reading and teaching medicine. He enjoyed canoeing and hiking and was a great photographer. He was also a singer with the Richmond (Virginia) Symphony Chorus. Donations may be made in his memory to The Dartmouth (thedartmouth.com), Richmond Symphony Chorus (richmondsymphony.com; direct any gift to the chorus) or Medical College of Virginia (mcvfoundation.org; direct any gift to the school of medicine).
