James M. Pool ’66

James M. Pool ’66 died June 8, 2009, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in South Carolina, close to his home on Pawley’s Island, north of Charleston. In 2005 he moved to Pawley’s Island, where he was the president of Pawley’s Island Beautification Program and taught at Coastal Carolina University. Jim is survived by daughter Courtney, son-in-law Jeremy, stepson Jordan and his fiancée, Rachel, and grandchildren Mark and Stevie.
