Howard C. Doolittle ’47

Howard C. Doolittle ’47 of Simi Valley, California, died on January 22. He was born in Endicott, New York, on September 4, 1922. After high school he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in China, where he specialized in bomb disposal. He entered college in the Marine V-12 program and graduated with an A.B. in business. He then worked for General Electric from 1947 to 1974 as a regional sales manager and then founded Active Real Estate Home Owner Loans. He worked in real estate until his retirement in 2001. He served the College and his class as an Alumni Fund volunteer, class agent and member of the reunion giving committee from 1995 to 1997. He was married for 59 years and was devoted to his family. He is survived by his four children.
