George Dudley Fletcher ’54

George Dudley Fletcher ’54 passed away on May 7 in Orchard Park, New York. George came to Dartmouth from Ithaca, New York, where he attended Ithaca High School. At Dartmouth he was an economics major and a brother of Alpha Theta. He was also photographic editor of the Aegis and a member of the Camera Club and Dartmouth Athletic Council. After two years in the U.S. Army, George spent four years with Scott Paper Co. and then18 years working in the automotive battery industry. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and children Alan, Mary, Paul and Ruth.
