George Ashley Owens ’67

George Ashley Owens ’67 of Bonita Springs, Florida, died on February 12. “Judd” came to college from Newton, Massachusetts, was a member of Gamma Delta Chi, and later served on the reunion committee and as a class agent. After graduation he received his M.B.A. from Tuck and enjoyed a career in the investment business with Smith Barney in Boston. Judd loved adventure travel: He climbed part of Mount Everest and spent time mountain biking and hiking through several national parks. He especially enjoyed cheering on his grandchildren from the sidelines. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Diana; children Deborah, Kevin, Kristin, and Michelle; sons-in-law James and Joseph; and grandchildren Lauren, Patrick, Alex, Allison, and Erin.
