Frederick Pring See ’50

Frederick Pring See ’50 died peacefully at his home in Marion, Massachusetts, on October 19, 2010, following a long and debilitating experience with kidney dialysis. After graduation from the Holderness (New Hampshire) School he served in the Army for two years. Fred attended Dartmouth for two years, during which time he became a member of Delta Tau Delta (now known as Bones Gate). He subsequently graduated from Bentley’s School of Business in Boston. He married Rosemary Leach of Taunton, Massachusetts, on February 17, 1951. They built a lovely house in Marion in the 1950s and remained there until the end. Fred’s outside activities included boating on beautiful Buzzards Bay and adjacent waters and skiing and golfing at Marion’s Kittansett Club. He served as governor of the club for 26 years, nine as club treasurer. He is survived by Rosemary, children Caroline, Frederica and Peter and his dogs Rosie, Annabelle, Lilly and Phoebe.
