Francis Stuart Sayer ’49

Francis Stuart Sayer ’49 died on February 26, 2013, in Delray Beach, Florida, where he lived. Stu grew up in Essex Falls, New Jersey, and came to Dartmouth from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. Stu spent most of his career as vice president and chief financial officer of American Abrasive Metals Co., a family business in New Jersey. He spent summers in Rumson, New Jersey, where he had deep roots. His wife, Nancy, predeceased him in 2006. Stu is survived by his children Stephen, Carter and Elisabeth.
